Minature Gardens Popping Up In Pot Holes Across London
Pot holes area problem across the UK with an estimated 2,000,000 so what can be done? Well there’s one London resident who’s taken matters into his own hands and is filling the local pot holes with miniature gardens.

The Daily Mail reports on the urban guerilla-gardener Steve Wheen who is working his way round the streets of London creating little plots of beauty where once a ugly pot hole could be found.
Steve has created all sorts of miniature gardens complete with miniature garden furniture. When Interviewed Steve said, “I try and choose public locations with plenty of walk-past traffic, so as many people see my gardens as possible before they get destroyed, stolen or run over.”
Steve continued saying, ‘In Australia I grew up in the garden and I’ve been living in London for the past eight years,’ he said. ‘I found out about guerrilla gardening when I moved here. I don’t have a garden myself so I’ve taken my gardening to the streets. A few years ago I tried it on a much tinier scale and it seems to have had a much bigger impact.’
Thanks to Steve’s efforts many people have enjoyed his beautiful miniature gardens, let’s hope others are encouraged to clean up our great city as well as their gardens.
